Kai is a relatively tall elf, standing at 6'1. He's slim and fit, which is common for all elves as well. his hair is not incredibly long, but definitely not short, black, and tends to take on a spiky appearance. His eyes are a clear blue, sometimes shifting to a darker blue. On his lower back the words 'Atra guliä un ilian tauthr ono un atra ono waíse sköliro fra rauthr.' have been magically inscribed.
PERSONALITY
Kai is a fairly smart elf, but he has much to learn. He trains hard and gives his heart to learning the ways of the riders. Kai has a tendency to be a touch pessimistic and look at the worst case scenario. He doesn't get easily attached to many things but he loves his dragon more than his own life. At times Kai can be rather foolish and he has an ugly habit of boasting, although he doesn't often do that when Jarnunvösk is in mind's range.
Kai can easily forget his own strength and this has often been reminded by his masters. His attitude is infinitely better when around Jarnunvösk and some may think she is the only reason he has any joy. She brings out the best in him, making him a funner, happier elf. He is a deeply caring person, although sometimes he tries to hide this. He cannot bear the suffering of others. Without a cause to fight for, he would become extremely hopeless, part of why he puts his whole heart into fighting for the Riders. He is also extremely honest and has tendency to speak his mind. He believes lies are the beginning of evil.

HISTORY
For 149 years, Kai had no reason to live. He filled his time with idle uses of magic, but never found anything he truly desired to perfect and master. Kai had only one thing that would put a lasting, genuine smile on his face: Seeing the riders. Every egg that came to Duweldenvarden, Kai went to see, hoping one day he would be a rider. He was disappointed every time until one egg, the colour of a citrine gemstone.
The egg of Jarnunvösk hatched for him and they were bonded as dragon and rider. They began to train under Arya and Fírnen, who were preparing them for their own mission: Carrying the dragon eggs across the realm.
